Kimberly Stuckwisch
Kimberly Stuckwisch exploded onto the directorial scene in 2020, earning wins at the UKMVAs, the Kinsale Shark Awards, the Berlin Commercial Awards and the Clios. Her work has competed at SXSW, Camerimage, and shots Awards where she was shortlisted for New Director of the Year.
In 2021, Kimberly directed Olivia Rodrigo's hyperreal concert film, "Sour Prom," nominated for the UKMVA’s Best Special Video Project and shortlisted at the 2022 Young Directors Awards.
In fashion, Kimberly directed Moschino’s FW21 film “Jungle Red,” featuring Dita Von Teese, Winnie Harlow and Lily Aldridge. In a follow-up collaboration for Moschino's Resort SS22, Kimberly directed the classic New York style musical "Lighting Strikes," starring Karen Elson.
Kimberly made her commercial debut with a campaign for SkinnyPop and 360i, a K-pop inspired ode to our golden age of stay-at-home snacking. The campaign earned her a place in SHOOT’s New Directors Showcase and on the longlist for the 1.4 Awards. Most recently, she directed the campaign film for Bose's “Turn the Dial,” an initiative that seeks to close gender gap in music production, featuring H.E.R., PinkPantheress, BLOND:ISH and WondaGurl.
Kimberly’s 28 minute short film for Angel Olsen’s album Big Time was a semi-finalist at Cannes Indie Shorts Awards. Her music video for Pearl Derringer "Little Baby ft. Margo Price" won Best Music Video at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and LA Femme International Film Festival, was shortlisted at the 1.4 Awards, and is competing in the 2023 SXSW Music Video competition.
Kimberly’s work blends magical realism with everyday life. A champion of bold creative ideas, her work often brings awareness to timely social issues and breaks conventional expectations.
